Rick Strawn Bio Continued
Rick Strawn retired from law enforcement in 1998 after 25 years of service. During those years, Rick worked in many varied assignments ranging from patrol to his retirement as Detective Sergeant and Day Commander over the White Collared Crimes Unit. As President of Paradigm Security Services, Inc., Rick, is a member of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Metro Chamber of Commerce, The Building of America Team Network and the Building Trade Association.
On a personal basis, Rick is married to Susan, has two daughters, one son and three beautiful grandchildren. Rick volunteers hundreds of hours every year as a member and Past Flotilla Commander of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, dedicated to the promotion of boating safety as a public instructor and vessel coxswain, as well as in many additional areas of service. Rick also actively sponsors such youth activities as his community’s youth swim team, the Richland Waves.
Rick incorporated Strawn Security Services, dba Strawn Support Services, in 1988 to facilitate the provision of the services of top quality off duty law enforcement personnel to major construction firms in the Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding areas. The primary focus was on filling the need for professional traffic control and on-site law enforcement security during the initial phase of major construction; providing both safety and security for the primary contractors and their sub-contractors.
Rick and his wife, Susan, have established the reputation of providing only the finest in services and personnel since 1988; working with each major contractor on an individual basis to insure that their needs are addressed to the highest standards.
In 1996, after years of establishing their reputation as a provider of highly trained law enforcement personnel and at the repeated request of their clients, Rick and Susan formed Paradigm Security Services, Inc. for the purpose of providing those clients with professional unarmed uniformed security personnel.
In many cases the point is reached where the law enforcement personnel can be replaced, as the primary force, with a professionally trained force of security personnel and specialized site management equipment that are more cost efficient for the services required by the client. This is the point that the professionally trained staff of Paradigm Security Services steps in to secure the property.
As Paradigm has grown, so has the diversity in its clientele. Today, Paradigm is available to provide whatever services that their clients request and in any venue that is required; from major or minor construction, shopping centers, home owner association community security and sporting venues to high profile personal executive protection and everything in between. If there is a need for professional security services, Paradigm is there to fill the need and set the standards for others to follow.
